In the murder case of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu alias Sidhu Moosewala in Mansa district of Punjab, the main witness did not reach the court to testify on Friday. This is the second time that both the friends sitting in Sidhu’s car after the incident did not come to testify.
The court had set the date for recording the statements of both yesterday i.e. Friday. Gurvinder Singh and Gurpreet Singh were sitting in Sidhu’s car at the time of the murder. Therefore, they were made the main witnesses. Both of them have sought exemption in the court citing personal reasons. This incident took place in Jawaharke village of Mansa. Gurvinder and Gurpreet were also shot in the incident.
Sidhu Moosewala Killed by shooters
On the evening of 29 May 2022, 6 shooters shot and killed Moosewala in Jawaharke village of Mansa. Moosewala was then 28 years old. The notorious gangster Lawrence Gang took responsibility for this murder. Gangster Goldie Brar, sitting in Canada, carried out this entire conspiracy. In which Lawrence’s brother Anmol and nephew Sachin Thapan were also involved.
The police have named 35 accused in this case. Out of these, 4 have died. Since the murder, the parents have been fighting to get justice for their son. They are constantly targeting the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab.
