Chandigarh: The poll campaign is in full swing across the country ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. In Punjab too, political parties are engaged in campaigning with full force. Meanwhile, big news is coming related to the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat.
For Bathinda Lok Sabha Seat all four major political parties of the state have announced their candidates. Meanwhile, it is said reportedly that Slain Singer Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh can contest from the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat but as an independent candidate.
Though there is no official confirmation regarding the same but as per sources Balkaur Singh can contest the election as an Independent candidate.
If this happened, all equations are expected to change after Balkaur Singh enters the election fray.
It has been learned from the sources that Sidhu’s father is getting his file prepared for the nomination. He has made his mind to contest the Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate.
Candidates from Bathinda Seat
Let us tell you that Shiromani Akali Dal has fielded former Union Minister and incumbent MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal from Bathinda. On the other hand, Congress has given ticket to Jeet Mohinder Sidhu. The ruling party AAP has made Cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian its candidate from Bathinda whereas BJP has fielded former IAS officer Parampal Kaur Maluka as its candidate
