Amritsar: Indian Railways has decided to run a special train twice a week from Amritsar to Bilaspur via Delhi and Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur. This train will make 5 rounds between the two cities. It is estimated that 9 thousand people will benefit from this train.
Along with reservation, general coach facility is also being provided in this train. Apart from Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon and Dongargarh, rail passengers of Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and surrounding areas will benefit from this special train.
This special train will run every Thursday and Monday i.e. 27 June and 1, 4, 8, 11 July. At the same time, it will run from Bilaspur every Tuesday and Saturday i.e. 25, 29 June and 2, 6, 9 July.
Know when this train will depart
This special train will depart from Amritsar every Thursday and Monday at 8.10 pm and will reach Raipur the next day at 9.25 am and Bilaspur at 11.45 am. Similarly, during the return journey, this train will depart from Bilaspur every Tuesday and Saturday at 1.30 pm and reach Raipur at 3.15 pm. Then it will depart from Raipur at 3.20 pm and reach Amritsar at 7.15 pm.
What will be the fare
If you want to travel in Amritsar-Bilaspur train, then you will have to pay Rs 415 for the general coach. If you want to reserve a seat in the sleeper coach, then its fare will be Rs 720. Third AC coach has also been added to it. To reserve it, the passenger will have to pay Rs 1930.
