Jalandhar: A tipper lost control and overturned late at night near Kala Bakra of Bhogpur on Jalandhar-Jammu National Highway in Jalandhar, Punjab. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in the incident. After one and a half hours of struggle, the tipper driver was somehow pulled out.
After which the highway was cleared with the help of a JCB called on the spot. The seriously injured tipper driver is undergoing treatment at the civil hospital, where his condition remains critical.
Passersby informed the police control room about the accident
According to the information, this accident happened on Thursday night between 2 to 2:30. There was a sound of an explosion at the spot. After which the passersby present on the spot immediately stopped their vehicles and informed the police control room about the incident.
After which the SSF teams immediately reached the spot for investigation. The SSF first tried to take out the driver, but could not find anything. After which, after a lot of hard work, the driver was somehow taken out.
After the accident, the driver of the tipper had fainted. For investigation, a police party from Adampur police station reached the crime scene. At present, it is not clear what is the actual cause of the accident, after investigation, the police will take further action.
