SSOC Mohali dismantles Key Module of BKI terrorist Rinda, three accused arrested

Mohali: In an intelligence-led operation, the State Special Operation Cell SSOC Mohali has dismantled a key module of Pakistan-based BKI terrorist Harvinder Singh @alias Rinda’s network. The information has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav through a post on X. 

As per the information, the module was backed by Pakistan’s ISI. Police made the arrest of three accused identified as: 1. Jagjit Singh @ Jaggi r/o Nanded, Maharashtra, co-accused in multiple criminal cases in Maharashtra. 2. Shubham Khelbude r/o Bandghat, Wajirabad, Nanded, Maharashtra 3. Gurdeep Singh @ Deepa r/o Raipur, PS Nurpur Bedi, Distt Ropar.

Accused provided shelter and logistical support. Jagjit alias Jaggi played a critical role in facilitating logistics, safehouses, and coordination for the shooters involved in the Nanded murder (10.02.2025), masterminded by Rinda from across the border.

Investigations have also uncovered the role of jailed gangster Dilpreet alias Baba, an old associate of Rinda, who arranged safe shelters in Punjab for the accused.

In this operation, Police recovered One .32 bore pistol with 8 live cartridges & One 12 bore pump-action gun with 15 live cartridges This operation marks a significant dent to a well-coordinated terror and crime syndicate spread across different states, operating under the command of a BKI terrorist. Case has been registered at PS SSOC, Mohali and further investigations are underway by the police.

DGP Yadav assured that Punjab Police remains firmly committed to dismantling such inter-state terror and crime networks and safeguarding national security.
