Tarn Taran : A rally was organized under the leadership of constituency in-charge and former MLA Ravinder Singh Brahmpura in Khadur Sahib in support of Shiromani Akali Dal candidate from Lok Sabha Constituency Khadur Sahib Prof. Virsa Singh Valtoha. Party president Sukhbir Singh Badal arrived to address this rally, who announced from the stage that the youth of Punjab will not be allowed to fall victim to the conspiracy of central agencies at any cost.
Sukhbir made it clear that Amritpal Singh cannot be considered Bandi Singh in any way, and they will not allow attempts to mislead the youth of Punjab to push the state into a dark period again be successful.
He said that the agencies want to divide the Sikh community but the Akali Dal stands by its commitment that it will not allow anyone to disturb the peace of Punjab. He appealed to the people that instead of getting carried away by emotions, they should remember that the 103-year-old party Shiromani Akali Dal represents the Panth and not someone who has been in jail for just one year.
Akali Dal candidate Virsa Singh Valtoha told how Akali Dal and Shiromani Committee are continuously fighting for the release of Bandi Singhs. On this occasion, the party candidate Prof. Virsa Singh Valtoha, former MLA Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, District President Jathedar Alwinderpal Singh Pakhoke addressed there.
