Talwandi Sabo Father-Son Murder Case: Police arrest 4 main accused

Bathinda: A horrific incident came to light in the village Jeevan Singh Wala of Bathinda district. Here, late on Monday night, a father and son were brutally killed by breaking into their house over a clash on a pet dog with iron rods. The deceased have been identified as Mandar Singh (55) and his son Amrik Singh (32). The accused also injured a woman of the family.

Taking prompt action and carrying out the investigation swiftly, Talwandi Sabo police solved the murder mystery and arrested 4 accused. According to the information, there was a fight between the two sides over pet dog. During this fight, accused Ekam Singh of Jeevan Singh Wala, along with his unknown accomplices, killed both the father and son by beating them with sticks and iron rods at around 9.30 pm on Monday night.

When noise was made, the accused fled from the spot. After getting information about the murder, Talwandi police station reached the spot and admitted the injured woman to the civil hospital, and the bodies were taken to Civil Hospital Bathinda for postmortem. On the statement of the injured woman, a murder case has been registered against the main accused Ekam Singh and the other accused. Police have arrested total 4 accused in the matter.

After getting information about the incident late at night, DSP Talwandi Sabo Ishan Singla and Talwandi Sabo police team reached the spot and started investigating the case. DSP Ishan Singla said that the police have identified the accused. In the said case, the main accused Ekam Singh along with 4 accused Mandeep Singh alias Mani, resident of Jeevan Singh Wala, Jagdeep Singh alias Honey, resident of Jeevan Singh Wala, Jaspreet Singh alias Jasso, resident of Chatthewala have been arrested.
