Hoshiarpur: In a tragic incident, a tempo traveller which was returning from Mata Vaishno Devi met with an accident in Hoshiarpur on Saturday morning. The tempo traveller collided with a tractor-trolley loaded with timber. The tempo traveller got badly damaged and 2 people have been reported dead in this tragic accident.
According to the information, the team of bhajan singer Bhupinder Babbal was returning from the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. During this, the tempo traveller went out of control near village of Baghpur in Hoshiarpur and collided with a tractor-trolley loaded with timber. It is being told that at the time of this accident, there were about 12 people in the tempo traveller.
Immediately after this accident on Jammu Hoshiarpur Highway, Hoshiarpur police reached the spot for investigation.
On the other hand, as soon as the information of the incident was received, the police officers also reached the spot. An investigation of the case has been started. After the accident, with the help of passersby, the injured were taken to the government hospital in Hoshiarpur for treatment. So far, two people have been confirmed dead in the incident. The rest of the injured are undergoing treatment. The police will take further action after investigating the matter. The police have also taken both the damaged vehicles into their custody.
