Jalandhar: In a significant accomplishment, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has arrested three associates of Canada-based terrorist Lakhbir Landa. The arrested associates of Lakhbir Landa were tasked to eliminate a rival gang member.
The action has been taken by Jalandhar Commissionerate Police. Police have intensified its ongoing crackdown on the organised crime and extortion calls. The information is shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav on his X handle.
It is said that the arrested associates of Lakhbir Landa have been involved in as many as 35 criminal cases. They were also tasked to carry out target killings of their rival group gangs. They are involved in extortions and cross-border weapons/drugs smuggling
FIR has been filed under UAPA and an investigation is being carried out to find backward and forward linkages.
