Three bodies found from drain in Tarn Taran village

The bodies of three unidentified men were discovered in a drain near Bainka village in Kasur by the Bhikhiwind police on Wednesday. One body was in a state of decomposition, while the other two exhibited signs of injury. The deceased are suspected to be migrant laborers, though this has yet to be verified.

According to Preetinder Singh, DSP of Bhikhiwind, the decomposed body was found packed in a bag, while the other two were wrapped in a blanket and discarded in the drain. The estimated ages of the bodies are around 35, 40, and 60, respectively. They have been sent to the Civil Hospital in Patti for a postmortem examination, which will take place 72 hours following their recovery.

The DSP noted that the injuries suggested the men were brutally tortured prior to their deaths, as all parts of their bodies showed marks of trauma. The Bhikhiwind police, led by Inspector Manoj Kumar, are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area and plan to file a criminal case against unidentified individuals shortly.
