Tarn Taran: Before the Panchayat elections in Punjab, the State Election Commission ordered the transfer of Tarn Taran Deputy Commissioner Gulpreet Singh Aulakh. These orders have been issued by State Election Commissioner Raj Kamal Chaudhary. The Election Commission has sent written instructions to the government. Gulpreet Singh Aulakh is a 2015 batch IAS officer. Earlier he was working as Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Amritsar.
Let us tell you that Gulpreet Singh Aulakh took charge as Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran just 3 days ago. It is being told that the IAS officer is accused of approving the change in reservation in a special panchayat of the district. Due to this, he has been transferred. Aulakh has replaced Sandeep Kumar.
Let us tell you that during the major reshuffle done by the state government, Aulakh was transferred from Amritsar Municipal Corporation to Tarn Taran. On reaching the district administrative complex Tarn Taran yesterday, he was given a guard of honor by a contingent of Punjab Police.
