Three vehicle collide on Jalandhar-Pathankot Highway, two injured

Jalandhar, May 18: An army vehicle, a tipper and another SUV collided near Adda Raipur Rasulpur on the Jalandhar Pathankot Highway in Jalandhar, Punjab. As soon as the incident was reported, teams of the Road Safety Force reached the spot and an investigation was started.

Giving information about the accident, Road Safety Force Party Incharge ASI Randhir Singh said- Army Gypsy was coming from Jalandhar city towards Bhogpur. It was being driven by a 36-year-old Army employee. Simarpreet Singh (32), a resident of Tajowal, Hoshiarpur, was following him in his Endeavour (PB 10 HC 0127). Suddenly the Endeavor car went out of control and hit the Army Gypsy from behind.

The police reached the spot and got the resignation done

Due to which the gypsy lost control and collided with the tipper. The road safety force personnel who reached the accident site got the military gypsy, Endeavor and tipper to move aside with the help of safety cones placed in the middle of the road and cleared the way. Two people have suffered minor injuries in the incident. However, the Maksuda police station of the area reached the spot and got the three parties to compromise.
