Karnal : The ticket checking staff fulfilled their social responsibility by giving security to a girl who had run away from home in the West Superfast Express and handed her over to the RPF at Karnal station.
In Train No. 12925 (Western Super Fast Express) which was coming from Mumbai Central to Amritsar, yesterday on 17th May, 2024, during ticket checking in sleeper coach S-1 by STE Shri Nand Kishore, headquartered at Amritsar, an unaccompanied girl of about 14 years was found traveling without a ticket.
Shri Nand Kishore tactfully interrogated the girl and she told that she had run away from home. She told that she is a resident of Tarn Taran. Fearing that the girl might fall into wrong hands, Shri Nand Kishore immediately informed the Control Room and Railway Protection Force, Delhi on phone.
After the train reached Karnal, the girl was handed over to the Railway Protection Force, Karnal to reunite her with her parents.
STE Shri Nand Kishore has done a wonderful job to save this girl. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Paramdeep Singh Saini decided to give a certificate of appreciation to STE Mr. Nand Kishore for this commendable work.
