Mansa Police organises Volleyball Tournament

Mansa: To keep the youth away from drugs and connect them with sports, the district police organized a volleyball tournament at the Nehru Memorial Sports Stadium in Mansa. The tournament was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Paramvir Singh and SSP Nanak Singh.

While the youth of Punjab Police participated in the volleyball tournament at Nehru Memorial College Sports Stadium in Mansa, on the other hand, students of schools were given a chance to participate.

Deputy Commissioner Paramvir Singh and SSP Nanak Singh said that the youth have been given a golden opportunity to quit drugs by joining sports. He said that the Punjab government has also launched a big campaign against drugs. Efforts are also being made to connect youth with sports. He said that in the coming days, the youth in the villages will be made aware and allowed to connect with sports.

He said that, apart from this, if any youth wants to give up addiction and join sports, then the district administration will provide him with all possible help. During this, the teams securing first, second, and third positions in various sports were also specially honored by Deputy Commissioner Paramveer Singh and SSP Nanak Singh.
