The Punjab government has transferred three police officers including an IPS. Gurmeet Singh Chauhan, who was made SSP of Ferozepur two days ago. He has been removed and re-appointed as AIG of Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF)
While the command of SSP of Ferozepur has been handed over to PPS officer Bhupinder Singh. At present, he is posted as Zonal AIG CID and Commandant of 3rd IRB Battalion Ludhiana.
He has been given the additional responsibility of the post of SSP. While PPS officer Manjit Singh has been given the responsibility of SP Investigation Ferozepur. He was currently working as SP in PBI Kapurthala.
