Troubles are not getting less for Surjeet Kaur, SAD candidate for the Jalandhar West Bypoll. Punjab BJP Scheduled Caste Wing President and former IAS officer Suchha Ram Ladhar has sent a complaint to the National Scheduled Caste Commission, Election Commission and Punjab Government.
Suchha Ram has demanded investigation of the caste certificate of Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Surjit Kaur. saying that the certificate submitted by her is fake, he has sought legal action against her.
Surjeet Kaur contested from Jalandhar West seat which is a reserved constituency. In the complaint, it is said that Surjit Kaur didn’t belong to the SC community and she submitted a fake certificate during the election nomination.
In the complaint sent by BJP leader Suchha Ram, he has alleged that no political party or leader complained during the election due to the impact on votes. Now the election process is over. Therefore, the fake SC certificate made by Surjit Kaur should be investigated and legal action should be taken under the charge of making a fake certificate.
