Two Pakistani drones recovered by BSF from Amritsar border

Amritsar : The Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday recovered two drones from different locations in the border area of Amritsar, officials said.

On 5th May 2024, based on information by BSF intelligence wing regarding presence of drones in two different locations in the border area of Amritsar district, search operations by BSF troops were conducted in the suspected areas.

The search operations resulted in following recoveries

a) 01 drone (China made DJI Matrice 300 RTK) recovered from the courtyard of an abandoned house of village Hardo Ratan in Amritsar District.

b) 01 drone (China made DJI Mavic 3 Classic), recovered from a harvested field adjacent to the village Nestha of district Amritsar.

Reliable information and alertness of BSF troops successfully helped to foil the desperate attempts of drone handlers and drug smugglers from across the border.
