Stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express in Kapurthala

Kapurthala: The Vande Bharat Express was going from Amritsar to Delhi but was damaged by a stone pelter between Phagwara and Goraya today. Due to this, there was an atmosphere of panic among the passengers present on the train. RPF and GRP have started investigating this matter.

There is news of stone-pelting on the Vande Bharat train near the Phagwara sub-division of the Kapurthala district of Punjab. However, it is not known whether this incident of stone pelting was done as a mischief by children or if some mischievous element did this to spread panic. But after the stone-pelting, an atmosphere of panic was definitely created inside the train.

According to the information, stones were pelted on the C-3 coach of the train, and the glass of two windows was badly damaged. This information has been given by a passenger traveling in the train. Poonam Kalra and Dali Thukral, residents of Gurugram, who were traveling in the C-3 coach of the train, said that as soon as they boarded the Vande Bharat Express from Phagwara to Delhi, they heard a loud sound near the adjacent seat.

They said that for some time no one knew what had happened, but later, when the entire matter was investigated thoroughly, it was found that unknown people had pelted stones on the C-3 coach of the Vande Bharat Express from outside.
