Vande Bharat train pelted with stones by miscreants near Suchi Pind

The incidents of stone pelting on trains are not stopping, which is becoming a matter of concern. In the past, stones were pelted on Vande Bharat Express near Phagwara, due to which the glass panes of the train were also damaged.

Now, the latest incident of stone pelting occurred near Suchi Pind Railway station. Stones were pelted on Vande Bharat Express near Suchi Pind railway station in Jalandhar.

The Railway police has taken the incident seriously and investigation has been started by the Railway Police in this regard. It is being told that the stones did not hit the train and an untoward incident was avoided.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening around 7 o’clock. Train number 22440 bound to Delhi from Mata Vaishno Devi to New Delhi at 2.55 pm. The train was going towards Ludhiana from Pathankot at 5.30 pm. During this, an attempt was made to pelt stones on the train at around 7 pm in Suchi Pind, Jalandhar.

It is being told that Railway police is trying to reach the accused in this regard. Action has been initiated to collect CCTV footage of the accused, departmental officials say that the accused will not be able to escape. It seems that people who pelt stones on trains have become active so that anarchy can be spread in the society, but the concerned departmental officials are taking strict action against such people.
