New delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will investigate the murder of Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Vikas Bagga in Nangal.
The Union Home Ministry has called for a complete investigation report related to this murder. The Ministry of Home Affairs has become active in this entire matter after links of terrorist organizations based in foreign countries were found.
Vikas Bagga Murder Case
On April 13, Vikas Prabhakar alias Vikas Bagga was shot dead in Nangal of Ropar district. In this case, Punjab Police has also arrested two attackers. The scooter used in the attack, 2 pistols and 16 bullets have been recovered. The attackers were identified as Mandeep Kumar and Surinder Kumar and arrested.
Punjab Police Solved murder case
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav claimed that Punjab police has solved the murder case of VHP leader. In a post on X, “In a major breakthrough, Rupnagar Police in a joint operation with SSOC Mohali, has solved the Vikas Prabhakar Murder Case in less than 3 days with the arrest of 2 operatives of a terror module backed by based terrorist masterminds On the basis of scientific investigation, the assailants identified as Mandeep Kumar @ Mangi & Surinder Kumar @ Rikka have been arrested today along with 2 weapons of 32 bore Pistols, 16 live cartridges, 01 empty used cartridges and a TVS Jupiter scooty used in the crime has been recovered”
