In Jalandhar, Punjab, a 25-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself in her house near Jinda Road. Police of Thana Division Number-1 has taken the body of the deceased into custody and sent it to Civil Hospital Jalandhar for post-mortem. The deceased has been identified as Pooja wife of Mahinder Kumar resident of Jinda Road, Maqsudan.
The police will soon take further action on the statements of the husband. ASI Sham Lal posted in Thana Division Number-1 said that the deceased Pooja lived with her family in Jinda Road, Chakki Wali Gali.
Pooja’s husband is a wholesaler of fruits in Maqsudan Sabzi Mandi. At the time of the incident, he had gone to work. After the post-mortem of the deceased, the body will be handed over to the family today. Let us tell you that at the time of the incident, other members of the family had gone to the temple.
