Mohali: A woman was murdered in a hotel late night in Mohali district of Punjab. Her dead body was found in the room. Marks were found on the woman’s neck.
The deceased has been identified as Sunita, a resident of Nawanshahr. Her age is said to be around 26 years.
According to the police, the woman and the young man had taken a room in a hotel in Phase 1 of Mohali last Wednesday. They also had a 4-year-old child with them.
The hotel staff knocked on the door, but got no response
When the hotel staff knocked on the door of the room on Thursday morning, no one opened the door. After this, the matter has been revealed.
The young man and the child were missing since the incident, but according to police sources, the accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar. He is also said to be a resident of Nawanshahr.
The police will soon hold a press conference
The police have arrested him, but the police will give information about it during the press conference. The accused is said to be the husband or living partner of the deceased.
