Yellow alert for 3 days heatwave in Punjab; temperature to rise by 5-6 degrees

Heat has started increasing once again in Punjab. In the last 24 hours, the average maximum temperature has increased by 0.9 degrees. It has become 1.8 degrees more than normal. Due to this, the temperature has reached 38 degrees. Bathinda has been the hottest. At the same time, a new western disturbance will be active in the Himalayan regions from April 16.

This will affect the weather of Punjab. The maximum temperature will increase by 05-06 degrees in the next four days, while the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert of heat wave for three days from tomorrow.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather of the state will remain dry on April 14, 15, 16 and 17. Light to moderate rain is expected at different places on April 18, 19 and 20. Heat wave is expected in some places of the state from April 16.

At the same time, the Health Department has warned people not to go out of the house when the heat is high. Try to finish all your work in the morning and evening when the heat subsides. Apart from this, from yesterday, the timing of all government hospitals has been changed from 8 am to 2 pm.

After the rain on 12 and 13 April in Chandigarh, the weather has started changing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, the temperature has increased by 2.6 degrees. This is 0.8 degrees less than normal. At the same time, the maximum temperature has been recorded at 34.9 degrees. However, there has been a change in the weather.
