A young man riding a motorcycle was shot dead by motorcycle-borne youths near Jhabal Road in Tarn Taran. The deceased was identified as Jagdeep Singh, a resident of village Jamstpur. Old enmity is also being considered as the reason behind the incident. At present, the police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
According to the information, a young man riding a motorcycle was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne youths near the inn of Gurdwara Sahib located on Jhabal Road in Tarn Taran.
The deceased has been identified as Jagdeep Singh Mola, a resident of village Jamstpur. The deceased had met Sumrit Kaur at Mohalla Noordi Adda in Tarn Taran 6 months ago. The deceased had come to his in-laws’ house and was coming towards the market on a motorcycle with his relative. The relative who was present with the deceased at the time of the murder said that two motorcycle-borne men shot him and he heard a thud, the bullet which tore through his chest and hit him.
The deceased’s father and family members said that the deceased was having a fight with some youths from the village, and they shot and killed Jagdeep. The victim’s family members have demanded justice.
