Youth injured by potash bomb in Ludhiana: Leg burnt due to explosion

Ludhiana: In Ludhiana, youths are continuously bursting bombs by putting sulphur-potash iron in pipes. Those selling potash are also selling potash (gunpowder) without any restriction. Last night, a potash-sulphur bomb hit the leg of a youth in Janakpuri area due to which the youth got seriously injured. His leg got badly burnt.

His friends brought him to the civil hospital. But seeing his critical condition, the doctors referred him to PGI. The name of the injured is Aslam. According to the information, Aslam is a resident of Janakpuri Street No. 6. He was blasting iron pipes by putting potash in them with his friends.

Suddenly one of his friends put a potash bomb in the pipe and burst it near his leg. The blast was so huge that the potash bomb completely burnt the leg of Aslam standing nearby. Seeing the leg’s condition deteriorating, the civil hospital doctors gave him first aid and referred him to PGI.

While talking, Aslam told that today he was bursting bombs with his friends. Then suddenly there was an explosion near his leg. His leg got burnt badly. Now he will have to be admitted to PGI for treatment.
