Muktsar: Youth was shot and killed by unknown persons on Mohlan road from Ratta Tibba village. After reaching the spot, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem at the Civil Hospital Malout.
According to the information, at around 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, Vishal Singh son of Mithu Singh, a resident of Gaddan Dob village, when he was returning to the village on his motorcycle from Panniwala Fatta suddenly unknown persons stopped Vishal Singh’s motorcycle and started beating him.
In the meantime, the said youths fired indiscriminately at Vishal Singh with a pistol, due to which Vishal Singh died on the spot.
As soon as the information was received, Ranjit Singh, SHO of Kabarwala police station, reached the spot and started the investigation. Due to this incident, there is an atmosphere of terror in the village of Ratta Tibba.
Vishal Singh’s mother Manpreet Kaur has accused some youths of the village and a woman of murdering Vishal Singh. On the other hand, SHO of Kabarwala police station Ranjit Singh said that the murder is being thoroughly investigated and appropriate action will be taken on the statements of Vishal Singh’s family members by tracing the accused.
