Youths attack eatery in Ludhiana after staff refused to give water bottle, 2 employees injured

Some youths attacked the famous Dhaba Prakash in Ludhiana, Punjab. Two employees of the Dhaba were badly injured in the attack. Actually, due to the Dhaba being closed, the employees refused to give water bottles to some people. Angry miscreants started arguing and started beating the employees. The miscreants attacked them with swords.

Both the employees have received 40 and 60 stitches. The injured employees have been identified as Sagar and Anand. Giving information, the Dhaba owner Nitish said that this incident happened after 12 o’clock on the night of July 9. He added that His Dhaba (eatery) is located near Orient Cinema. This incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed outside the Dhaba. Nitish told that around 11:45 pm, 8 to 9 people came to his Dhaba and started asking for a bottle of water.

Due to the Dhaba being closed, the employees refused to give water bottles to the miscreants. Due to this the employees Sagar and Anand were abused. The matter escalated so much that the accused attacked both of them with swords. After committing the crime, the accused fled from the spot. According to Nitish, the matter was reported to the police of Sarabha Nagar police station.

Both the injured employees underwent surgery at DMC Hospital. Meanwhile, SHO Paramveer Singh said that the statements of the injured will be recorded and the attackers will be caught soon.
