Jaipur: Rajasthan’s Barmer district recorded a maximum temperature of 41.8°C in the last 24 hours, while Dausa recorded a minimum temperature of 17.2°C.
The heat wave is steadily increasing in the state. According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, clear weather and intense heat are expected to persist throughout the state for the next 4-5 days.
Temperature also crosses 40 degrees in Chittorgarh
Chittorgarh recorded its hottest day of the season on Monday, with temperatures reaching 40°C. This temperature was higher than Jodhpur, Phalodi, Bikaner, and Churu.
Barmer is currently the hottest region, recording the highest temperature of the season so far.
Bright sunshine and hot winds in many districts
Light clouds and dusty winds were observed in Bikaner, Churu, and Hanumangarh in the Bikaner division. Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota, and Udaipur also experienced intense heat throughout the day.
Mount Abu recorded a maximum temperature of 29.9 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.4 degrees Celsius.
Weather department warns, heat wave to increase
Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, stated that the weather will remain clear throughout the state for the next 4-5 days, and the heat wave may intensify.
Temperatures are expected to rise further in western Rajasthan, while temperatures in eastern Rajasthan may rise by 2-3 degrees.
