Reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir Police: Several Inspectors Transferred; Orders Effective Immediately

Taking administrative exigencies into consideration, the Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has repatriated nine Inspectors posted in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to their respective zones. Simultaneously, seven other Inspectors have been posted to the ACB with new responsibilities, effective immediately.

An order issued by the Police Headquarters states that this reshuffle has been carried out in the administrative interest, following the approval of the Director General of Police.

The nine Inspectors repatriated from the ACB include Showkat Ahmed Khan, Manzoor Ahmed Beg, Mohammad Salim, Imtiyaz Ahmed, Mohammad Tufail, Manjeet Singh, Rajpal, Tanveer Hussain, and Mohammad Hafiz. They have been posted to the Kashmir, Jammu, and Armed Zones.

Meanwhile, the seven officers posted to the ACB include Tariq Hassan, Jaspal Singh, Nisar Hussain, Suhail Ahmed, Abid Ashraf Bhat, Mukhtar Ali, and Mohammad Iqbal. These officers hail from the PHQ, Kashmir, Jammu, Armed, and GRP wings. Additionally, Inspector Vimal Kumar Kaul has been transferred from the Armed Zone and posted to the ACB. The order directs that all concerned officers be relieved of their duties immediately.
