Amritsar, August 16: The timing of the retreat ceremony at the three major India-Pakistan borders of Punjab has been changed. This change has been made at the Attari border of Amritsar as well as Hussainiwala of Ferozepur and Sadki border of Fazilka. This decision was taken to change the time of sunset as the days are getting shorter.
According to the order of Punjab Frontiers, the new time has been set from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Whereas earlier this retreat used to go on till 7 pm. BSF officials said that this decision has been taken in view of the changing weather. Under the new time, now tourists will also get more convenience in watching the ceremony. This ceremony of Attari-Wagah, Hussainiwala and Sadqi is always a big attraction for tourists due to patriotism and attractive display.
