Rewari: On Friday morning in Rewari, a school bus and a truck collided on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. The accident occurred near the Masani Barrage. At the time of the crash, 20 children were on board the bus. After colliding with the bus, an Eicher Canter overturned. Following the incident, chaos ensued at the scene.
Bystanders immediately alerted the police to the incident and helped evacuate the children from the bus. The drivers of both the bus and the Canter sustained injuries in the accident and were transported to a hospital, while the children are reported to be safe. Upon receiving the information, police personnel from the Dharuhera Police Station arrived at the scene.
Students Heading for a Delhi Tour
According to reports, students from Rath International School in Behror, Rajasthan, were traveling in the school bus on a tour to Delhi. During this journey, a collision occurred between the Canter and the school bus near the Masani Barrage in Khaliyawas on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, causing the Canter to overturn.
All Children Safe, Drivers Injured
Kashmiri Lal, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Dharuhera Police Station, stated that the children hailing from Behror, Rajasthan were traveling in the school bus on a tour to Delhi and Gurugram. The canter overturned following the collision. The children on board the bus are completely safe. The drivers of both the bus and the Canter, who were injured in the accident, have been taken to a hospital. He added that the police have initiated an investigation into the matter after inspecting the accident site.
