Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to return to the big screen with her upcoming Telugu film “Maa Inti Bangaram.” Amidst the excitement surrounding the much-talked-about drama, the producers have released the first look poster of director B.V. Nandini Reddy’s film.
The poster shows Samantha standing inside a bus, wearing a simple brown saree, and her eyes reflect a powerful intensity, giving a glimpse of her powerful and action-packed character.
Sharing the poster on Instagram, Samantha wrote, “Just keep watching… #MaaIntiBangaaram will connect with you all.”
Teaser trailer to release on January 9th
Along with the first look, Samantha also announced the release date of the film’s teaser trailer. She wrote, “#MiBTeaserTrailer releasing on January 9th at 10 AM.”
The shooting of the film, which was created by Samantha’s husband, Raj Nidimoru, has already been completed.
Action scenes performed by herself in a sari
“Maa Inti Bangaram” is being described as one of the most challenging films of Samantha’s career. According to reports, she performed most of the action sequences herself—all while wearing a sari.
A source close to the project said, “After ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Citadel,’ Samantha wanted to challenge herself further. In ‘Maa Inti Bangaram,’ she is performing most of the action herself, and that too in a sari. It’s physically demanding and visually impressive.”
The film is being produced under Samantha’s home banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, along with Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvvuru. Producer Himank Duvvuru said the film presents a story of emotions and values with high-octane action, and Samantha’s dedication adds a unique and powerful authenticity to it.
