First, panic spread in schools in the Amritsar district of Punjab after threats were received that terrorists had threatened to bomb large schools. Panic ensued, and young children, without understanding anything, rushed home with their parents. A search operation was conducted, but nothing was found. But those who spread chaos don’t stop their activities, do they? However, the fact that these threats have reached the minds of children in Punjab is in itself a very distressing matter.
After Amritsar, ten schools in Jalandhar also received bomb threats. The police declared a holiday in all the schools and conducted a search operation. Nothing suspicious was found. Administrative officials and the district police chief are saying that the cyber cell team is conducting a thorough investigation into the threatening emails and calls. Currently, all the emails appear to be fake, but no laxity will be shown in security. It should be noted that no suspicious object was recovered from any of the schools in Jalandhar. A rumor spread that the winter holidays might be advanced due to the threats, but the winter holidays will begin on their scheduled date, December 24th.
