Mumbai: Actress Shehnaaz Gill has shared her thoughts on love, saying that whether a relationship reaches its destination or remains incomplete should not matter. Instead, she believes people should focus on living in the present and embracing every moment.
Speaking about whether some love stories are meant to be remembered rather than completed, Shehnaaz said love remains meaningful regardless of its outcome.
‘Live in the present and stay loyal’
The actress said people often become too focused on the future, which can sometimes lead to disappointment.
She encouraged everyone to live in the present, stay happy and remain loyal, adding that enjoying the current moment is more important than worrying about what lies ahead.

When asked whether cross-border love stories have become more political than personal, Shehnaaz described love as a powerful emotion capable of changing lives.
She said love often attracts political and social complexities because of its emotional intensity.
‘Ishqnama’ tells a cross-border love story
Shehnaaz’s latest film, Ishqnama, is inspired by a true story and follows the journey of soulmates Nimma and Nasima between 1981 and 1988 along the India-Pakistan border.
The period romantic drama explores themes of love, sacrifice and humanity beyond borders while highlighting the emotional impact of separation.
Directed by Arvvindr S. Khaira, the film also stars Jai and Saurabh Sachdeva. The music has been composed by B Praak, with lyrics by Jaani. The film released in theatres on July 24.
