In Dhakla village, located in the Jhajjar district of Haryana, a son—who works in the Education Department in Gurugram—opened fire on his father following a land dispute. The bullets struck the elderly man in the arm and leg, leaving him critically injured.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and transported the injured man to the Civil Hospital in their own vehicle. From there, given the severity of his condition, he was referred to the Rohtak PGI. The police are currently investigating the matter. Based on the injured man’s statement, the police have registered an FIR against his son, brother, and nephew.
According to reports, Ishwar—a native of Dhakla village currently residing in Najafgarh—s: Krishan and Sandeep. Krishan resides in Dhakla village, while Sandeep works as a clerk in the Education Department in Gurugram; he is currently posted at the District Education Officer’s office.
On Monday, Ishwar had visited Dhakla village to see his son, Krishan. During this visit, Sandeep also arrived in the village. A dispute regarding land subsequently erupted between Sandeep and Ishwar, during which Sandeep fired at his father, Ishwar, using an illegal firearm.
The bullets struck Ishwar in the arm and leg, causing him to collapse in a wounded state. The incident was reported to the police. Upon receiving the report, the police reached the scene and transported the injured man to the Civil Hospital in their official vehicle. From there, considering Ishwar’s critical condition, he was referred to the Rohtak PGI. The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
Commenting on the matter, ACP Surender Kumar stated that the police had received information regarding a son shooting his father over a land dispute in Dhakla village. A Dial-112 team admitted the injured man to the Civil Hospital, from where he was subsequently referred to the Rohtak PGI. An FIR has been registered against three individuals in connection with this incident.
