Australian Squad announced for test series against New Zealand

Canberra: Australia have selected a 14-player squad for the two-match Test series against New Zealand starting on February 29, which also includes Michael Neser.

The reigning ICC World Test Championship winners will tour New Zealand with the team that played in recent home series against Pakistan and West Indies, with the only change being Nesser. Neser has got the chance to replace Lance Morris who was injured in the ODI series against West Indies.

It’s great to see Michael Neser get another chance in the team after his consistent performances over a long period of time and in our circumstances”.

Fast bowler Pat Cummins will once again lead the team during the series. He will lead a strong bowling line-up that includes Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon, while the experienced Usman Khawaja is expected to continue in his new role as an opening batsman alongside vice-captain Steve Smith.
