A report of Hindustan Times has confirmed that Rohit Sharma will be the captain of Team India in the ODI series in Sri Lanka. The first match of the T20 series will be played in Pallekele on July 27 at 7:00 pm. At the same time, the ODI series will start in Colombo from August 2. At present, none of the teams have been announced for this tour.
It is also expected that BCCI may give rest to senior players Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah of the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup last month from the Sri Lanka tour.
