A state-level function will be held today in Ludhiana’s ancestral village, Sarabha, to commemorate the martyrdom day of the great revolutionary, Martyr Kartar Singh Sarabha. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will attend as the chief guest and pay tribute to the martyr. The administration has completed extensive preparations for the function.
The venue will be under tight security.
DC issued instructions: Village Sarabha has been transformed into a cantonment in view of the function. Police officers, including the SDM, inspected the venue late Saturday evening and reviewed the security arrangements. All information, including security at the venue, the number of guests, and a list of names of those seated on the stage, has been gathered. DC Himanshu Jain took feedback from subordinates regarding all preparations and directed them to tighten security arrangements. Officials have also been asked to pay special attention to parking spaces.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will visit Sarabha village today to pay tribute to martyr Kartar Singh Sarabha and will participate as the chief guest in the state-level function. In view of Mann’s presence, police force will be deployed at every nook and corner of the entire area.
