Rajasthan weather alert: Heatwave relief as WD brings respite; Temperature to soar again after three days

Jaipur, April 21: Relief from scorching heat will continue in the state for the next 3 days. On Sunday, the effect of heat waves was less in the state, and the maximum temperature also decreased. The Meteorological Department says that there will be no significant change in the temperature for the next three days, but after that, the mercury may rise again.

Talking about the capital, Jaipur, the maximum temperature on Sunday was 40 degrees. Today, it may decrease by one degree. The sky will be generally clear and the weather will be dry. Due to the effect of an active western disturbance over the Himalayas, immediate relief is being felt in the temperature.

In western Rajasthan, where heat waves were going on with continuous high temperatures, the mercury has now come down to around 40 degrees. Mercury has come down rapidly in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Jodhpur. In Barmer, the maximum mercury has reached nearly 47 degrees this month. On Sunday, the maximum temperature here was 40.8 degrees. In Jaisalmer, it was 39.5 degrees. Bikaner recorded 40.4 degrees, and Jodhpur recorded 38.6 degrees.

In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in 16 districts was more than 40 degrees. Mount Abu had the best weather, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 19 degrees. The temperature in other cities was as follows-

Alwar recorded 40.6 degrees, Jaipur 41.5 degrees, Sikar 39.5 degrees, Chittorgarh 41.8 degrees, Ganganagar 41.2 degrees, Dholpur 41.7 degrees, Sangaria 39 degrees, Jalore 37.6 degrees, Sirohi 35, Fatehpur 39.3 degrees.
