Varanasi, April 21: There is a rain alert in 14 districts of West UP today. Winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 km per hour in these districts. The weather will remain the same for the next 24 hours. On Sunday, the temperature of 10 districts has crossed 40 degrees. The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert in 12 districts.
Western disturbance will bid farewell to UP from today
Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that the intensity of the western disturbance originating from Iran will be visible today as well. He said that the western disturbance will bid farewell to Uttar Pradesh by afternoon today. After which the temperature will rise rapidly. He said that the temperature is expected to cross 45 degrees in the first week of May.

Heat wave alert in 12 districts
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heat wave in Mathura, Agra, Etawah, Etah, Mainpuri, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Banda, Jalaun in the next five days from Monday. Farmers have been advised to maintain proper moisture by irrigating the crops lightly. Do not go out of the house unnecessarily.
