Sub-Inspector Ramesh was beaten to death with bricks and sticks while trying to stop a mob of youths in Hisar. The incident took place at 11:30 pm on Thursday. The accused fled, leaving behind a car and two two-wheelers.
Senior police officers reached the spot after being informed about the incident. Police say that further action will be taken based on the statement of the family. A search has been launched for the accused. The body has been sent to the Civil Hospital for a postmortem.
The police are actively searching for the accused, and various police teams are conducting raids. It is worth noting that 57-year-old Sub-Inspector Ramesh was about to retire in January.
In fact, Sub-Inspector Ramesh Kumar, who has been posted in the ADGP office for 10 years, lived with his family at street number 3, Dhani Shyamalal. Sub-Inspector Ramesh was working in the police department for a long time. Many other members of the family also work in the police department.
It is being reported that at 10:30 pm, some youths were creating a ruckus and were abusing. Hearing the noise, Sub-Inspector Ramesh came out of the house. He stopped the youths from creating a ruckus.
At that time, the youths left. After an hour, several youths came in cars and two-wheelers. They started abusing in front of Ramesh’s house. When Ramesh stopped them, they attacked him with sticks and bricks. Ramesh fell down injured. Hearing the screams, the family members reached the spot and chased the attackers, but they managed to escape.
