Amritsar, August 24: Shiromani Akali Dal chief and former Punjab deputy CM Sukhbir Badal has attacked the Aam Aadmi Party government. He alleged that on the orders of Arvind Kejriwal, the Punjab government is snatching the rights of Punjabi youth. Jobs have been given to such non-Punjabi people who do not fulfill the Punjabi language qualification. He said that such people should be dismissed immediately.
This is ample proof that @AamAadmiParty govt in Punjab is recruiting outsiders on the orders of @ArvindKejriwal at the cost of Punjabi youth.
All such outsiders who have been recruited illegally without fulfilling Punjabi language proficiency should be dismissed immediately.… pic.twitter.com/dr6y9Gmbtu— Sukhbir Singh Badal (@officeofssbadal) August 24, 2025
Post written on social media account
Sukhbir Badal raised this question by writing a post on his social media account X. In his post, he has raised three points…
- This is a solid proof that the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab, on the orders of Arvind Kejriwal, is recruiting outsiders by snatching the rights of Punjabi youth.
- All such outsiders who have been recruited illegally without fulfilling the Punjabi language qualification should be dismissed immediately.
- The Punjab government should also disclose how many government jobs were given and how many of them were given to outsiders. The Akali Dal is committed to reverse all such anti-Punjab decisions and action will be taken against the officials involved in this illegal work once the government is formed.
More than 55 thousand jobs have been given
At the same time, the Punjab government says that it has given more than 55 thousand jobs so far in its three and a half years of tenure. All the jobs have been given on the basis of merit and no questions have been raised on any recruitment process. CM Bhagwant Mann has said from the stage that this has happened for the first time, otherwise earlier jobs were given six months before every election.
