A Western Disturbance has become active in northwest India, bringing light clouds to some areas. Daytime temperatures have dropped by 1.1 degrees Celsius, while night temperatures remain elevated by up to 3 degrees. Due to this Western Disturbance, rain is expected in the western Himachal region and the surrounding plains of northwest India from October 5th to 7th.
According to information shared in the Meteorological Center’s bulletin, light to moderate rain is expected at many places in Punjab and Chandigarh on October 6th and at many places on October 5th and 7th. Thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by winds up to 40 km/h are expected in Punjab and Chandigarh during these days.
