BJP State In-Charge Shrikant Sharma, State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal, and Organization General Secretary Siddharthan inspected the foundation stone laying site for the newly constructed BJP State Headquarters on Friday.
BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda will perform the groundbreaking ceremony and lay the foundation stone for the state office at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal stated that this is the National President’s first visit to Himachal Pradesh after the NDA and BJP’s landslide victory in Bihar, and thousands of workers will welcome him at the Peterhof grounds.
Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, Dr. Bindal said that the three years of the Congress government were spent solely on criticizing the BJP. Even at their government functions, which cost crores of rupees, public issues were not raised, there was not a single concrete development point, and the entire program devolved into a political slugfest of internal conflict and baseless accusations against the BJP.
He said that the Congress government has neither fulfilled its old promises nor does the public have any faith in its new ones. The new resolution program of the government which could not fulfill even a single promise in three years, is just a betrayal of the people of Himachal.
