Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Four More Arrested

New Delhi: Delhi Police probe weapon supply route from Amritsar to Mumbai; accused also allegedly tried to help shooters escape, Police have arrested four more people, including two women, in connection with the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car. The latest arrests are linked to the alleged transportation of a weapon and ammunition to Mumbai and attempts to help the shooters escape after the incident.

The Special Cell’s NDR unit arrested the four accused on October 20. They have been identified as Kunal, 21, and Sumit, 19, both residents of Haryana’s Sonipat district, along with Radha, 23, from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh and Babita, 23, from Azamgarh in the state.

Investigators are now examining how the pistol and ammunition were allegedly transported from Amritsar to Mumbai. They are also probing the role of intermediaries who may have helped deliver the weapon and the reported efforts to arrange an escape route for the shooters.

How the Weapon Was Allegedly Transported to Mumbai

According to Delhi Police, Kunal had recently been released from jail on bail. He allegedly came into contact with Anil Pandit through a friend. The two later began communicating through an encrypted messaging application.

Police allege that Kunal brought a pistol and 20 cartridges from Amritsar on Pandit’s instructions. Sumit reportedly accompanied him on the journey.

During the investigation, police also found that Kunal had met Radha around two months before the incident. He allegedly told her about his activities and later persuaded her to carry the weapon to Mumbai.

On October 15, Kunal reportedly took Radha and Babita to New Delhi railway station. According to the police account, the pistol was placed inside Radha’s bag before the women travelled to Mumbai.

Radha and Babita arrived in Dadar on October 17 and checked into a hotel. At around 11 am that day, a minor boy allegedly collected the bag from Radha near the hotel.

Investigators are now trying to establish who received the bag afterwards and how the weapon allegedly reached those involved in the firing.

Arrests Follow Alleged Escape Plan

The firing incident took place on the evening of October 18. According to Delhi Police, Anil Pandit later informed Kunal that the shooters were stranded in Mumbai and allegedly asked him to arrange their escape.

On the same day, Radha and Babita reportedly left Dadar for Delhi aboard the Haridwar Express. Both women were apprehended at New Delhi railway station on October 20. Kunal and Sumit were detained in Sonipat, Haryana.

The investigation has also traced the alleged movements of the accused after the firing. They reportedly fled to Surat in Gujarat and boarded a train bound for Jaipur. Their alleged plan was to reach New Delhi by bus before escaping to Nepal.

Mumbai Police had earlier arrested three accused in Kota, Rajasthan, in connection with the case.

The latest arrests have brought the alleged weapon supply chain and escape arrangements under further scrutiny. Police are continuing to investigate the roles of the accused and the movement of the weapon before and after the firing incident.

Further investigation is underway.
