Mumbai: The FIR in the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff has revealed that seven rounds were fired at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has described the incident as a “very serious and condemnable matter” and said the suspects may be operating from outside Maharashtra or even from outside India.
Police have registered a case against three unidentified persons and launched a search to trace them. The firing took place on Sunday evening, when three men allegedly arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire near Shroff’s car. The actor was not injured, while his driver was reportedly hurt.
Fadnavis said the police had obtained some clues and were working to identify those involved. He assured that the government would take strict action against everyone responsible.
Fadnavis Says Police Have Found Clues
Speaking to reporters in Nagpur on Monday, Fadnavis said the police were treating the case with the utmost seriousness. He also confirmed that the state government was coordinating with the Centre to track down the suspects.
“It is important to note that none of these individuals operate from within Maharashtra; those who do operate from within the state have already been arrested,” Fadnavis said.
He added that authorities would coordinate with other states and seek the Centre’s assistance to trace anyone operating from abroad. He said the police would follow the legal process and take strict action regardless of where the alleged masterminds were hiding.
The Chief Minister also said he had spoken to Tiger Shroff over the phone and assured him that the government would take steps to ensure his safety.
Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the firing in a social media post that has circulated online. However, police are still verifying the claim and investigating the identity of those behind the attack.
According to the account provided, three men arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire in Juhu on Sunday evening before fleeing. The police have launched a search for the suspects.
Fadnavis warned that neither individuals nor gangs involved in such threats would be spared. He said the authorities would track down those responsible and take action under the law.
The investigation is continuing, with police working to establish who carried out the attack and whether the people involved were operating from outside Maharashtra or abroad.
