Aamir Khan Was a Target in Tiger Shroff Firing Case, But Shooters Changed Their Plan: Report

Mumbai: The accused arrested in the firing case on Tiger Shroff’s car have reportedly revealed during police interrogation that they had conducted recce of several major Bollywood stars’ homes while living in Mumbai. These include actors Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Akshay Kumar.

According to sources, during initial interrogation, the accused stated that Salman Khan was the gang’s primary target. The attackers also conducted recce of the area around his home, Galaxy Apartments, but abandoned their plan after seeing the tight security there.

Following this, when it became difficult to reach Salman Khan, the attackers conducted recce of other prominent actors, including Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Akshay Kumar.

Tiger Shroff’s car was fired upon on October 18th

On the evening of October 18th, two men opened fire on Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area. The actor was greeting fans with his car windows rolled up at the time. After the shooting, the accused fled on a motorcycle.

Tiger Shroff suffered minor injuries or escaped relatively unharmed, while his driver and a passerby were injured. According to Mumbai Police, five to six rounds of bullets were fired at the car.

So far, 11 people have been arrested from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana.

Police have named gangster Anil Pandit as a wanted accused in the case. He claimed responsibility for the shooting through a social media post. Anil Pandit is said to be an alleged associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which operates from the US.

Claims of recce around Aamir Khan’s Bandra home

Mumbai Police investigations have reportedly revealed that members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang conducted recce around Aamir Khan’s Bandra residence for about a month before firing at Tiger Shroff’s car. According to sources, the attackers monitored the area on three separate occasions.

sources said that Aamir Khan was often away from home for film shoots or spent extended periods indoors, making it difficult for the attackers to reach him.

It is believed that these activities and the difficulty in contacting Aamir Khan prevented the attackers from achieving their alleged goals.

Audio clip viral on social media regarding Aamir Khan’s marriage

Meanwhile, an audio clip and post have surfaced on social media, allegedly linked to individuals named Arzoo Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi. These posts make objectionable claims about Aamir Khan’s third marriage to Gauri Spratt. The alleged post describes it as “love jihad” and against “Sanatan” culture, threatening to teach the actor a lesson.

However, the term “love jihad” is not officially defined as a legal offense in Indian law. The Union Home Ministry told the Lok Sabha in 2020 that the term “love jihad” is not defined in the country’s current laws. The term is often used to target the Muslim community and accuse them of forced religious conversion under the pretext of marriage.

Following reports of recce, the Mumbai Police are investigating the entire matter, including the viral audio clip.

Tiger Shroff targeted due to low security

According to sources, after facing difficulties in reaching Salman Khan, the attackers planned to attack Tiger Shroff’s car. The actor was on his way to play football in Juhu at the time. The attackers reportedly chose him because he had less security around him and was considered relatively easy to reach.

According to sources, the attackers learned through social media reels and Instagram that Tiger Shroff plays football every Sunday at the Pushpa Narsee Ground in Juhu. Based on this information, they planned the attack, considering him an easy target.

According to police, the alleged purpose of the plot was to create an atmosphere of fear in Bollywood and target a prominent actor. The investigation is ongoing.
