Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s eldest daughter, Trishala Dutt, penned an emotional birthday note for her father as he celebrated his 67th birthday on Tuesday, calling him “the other part of my soul.”
Trishala Shares Heartwarming Photos with Sanjay Dutt
Taking to social media, Trishala shared two heartwarming pictures with her father. In the first photo, the father-daughter duo is seen posing together at what appears to be a restaurant. Sanjay looked stylish in a black-and-white polka-dot shirt paired with yellow-tinted sunglasses, while Trishala smiled for the camera in a floral outfit.
Sharing the image, she wrote, “Happy, happy birthday to the other part of my soul. I love you Papa.”
In another picture, Trishala is seen kissing Sanjay on the cheek as the actor smiles with his eyes closed.
A Bond That Has Endured Through the Years
Trishala is Sanjay Dutt’s daughter from his first marriage to actress-model Richa Sharma. The couple married in 1987 and welcomed Trishala in 1988.
Richa passed away in 1996 after a prolonged battle with a brain tumour. Trishala, who is based in New York, chose to stay away from the entertainment industry and works as a psychotherapist.
In 2019, she suffered a personal tragedy when her Italian boyfriend passed away. Since then, she has openly spoken about grief, therapy and healing.
Father’s Day Reunion Earlier This Year
Earlier this year on Father’s Day, Sanjay Dutt flew to New York to surprise Trishala and spend the weekend with her.
Sharing moments from their reunion on social media, Trishala had described the visit as “the best Father’s Day surprise.”
Sanjay Dutt is currently married to Maanayata Dutt, and the couple are parents to twins.
