A sudden fire broke out in electronic vehicles at Chhatbir Zoo on Thursday afternoon, causing chaos among the people. The fire spread so fast that several e-vehicles were engulfed in flames. On receiving information, a fire brigade team reached the spot and, after much effort, brought the fire under control. The fire that spread in the charging station gutted all 12 electric vehicles.

According to the zoo management, these vehicles are used to transport tourists during safaris. The fire has caused a loss of lakhs of rupees to these electronic vehicles. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, although a technical fault is being considered as a possible reason.

After the incident, there was an atmosphere of panic in the zoo for some time, and tourists were kept away from the area for security reasons. The police and fire department are investigating the matter.

The zoo administration said that no one was injured in the accident, but additional safety measures will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
