New Delhi: A small aircraft crashed into a pond in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, today. The aircraft is reportedly from the Indian Air Force. The accident occurred in a pond behind KP College in the city, causing panic in the area.
Local residents immediately informed the police, after which fire brigade vehicles and rescue teams arrived at the scene. The administration has cordoned off the entire area and tightened security.

More Details of the Aircraft
Earlier this month, a small aircraft belonging to a private airline, which was flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela, made a crash landing 10 kilometers before Rourkela. All six people on board—four passengers and two crew members—were reported safe and sustained only minor injuries.
Giving details about that incident, official Jena said,
“A nine-seater private flight of A-1 category, which was going from Rourkela to Bhubaneswar, met with an accident. Six passengers on board sustained minor injuries, and all are in stable condition. The accident occurred at Jalda, 10 kilometers from Rourkela. By God’s grace, it was not a major accident.”
